HISTORY

Tylösand’s beauty was discovered back in 1906…

Royal photographer Johan Hallberg, who, with inspiration from Trouville in France, created the Tylösand Seaside Resort. The new resort was given a fretwork creation with towers and pinnacles and 10 guest rooms. (To look at the slide show further down, click on a picture and press “play”, 2 pages of old photos)

Much has changed over the years. You no longer need to take a boat to get to Tylösand. The former spa hotel is now owned by the well-known businessman Björn Nordstrand and pop star Per Gessle, and is one of Sweden’s most popular internationally-renowned, conference hotels.
Hotel Tylösand is designed for all types of conferences, recreation, entertainment and art displays. We have 225 comfortable rooms and 29 conference rooms of varying sizes and a magnificent congress hall for up to 700 people who can enjoy the breathtaking sea views.
